Job summary

W Talent Manufacturing, a leading aerospace supplier in the Nottinghamshire region, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead daily production operations and drive performance improvements in a highly regulated environment.

You will oversee output, quality, and delivery targets while embedding a culture of safety and continuous improvement across the shop floor and coordinating with planning, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Production/Manufacturing or Operations Manager in aerospace/precision manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100 and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities and report to Site Director.
• Ensure aerospace standards, regulatory compliance, HSE.
• Lead production teams to meet output targets.
• Drive safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and execute production plans aligned with demand.
• Coordinate with planning, engineering, quality, and supply chain.
• Monitor KPIs and take corrective actions.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase throughput.
• Support NPI activities and integration into production.
• Coach and develop team members; address skills gaps.
• Maintain robust quality control with QA teams.
