Reports to:Subsea & Survey Manager

Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Online Surveyorwith a strong background in nearshore and offshore operations to join Interocean on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing survey department procedures, leading survey scopes within the UK 12 Nautical Miles and offshore waters, and providing remote troubleshooting and assistance to our field teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead survey operations within the 12NM limit and in offshore environments.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures for the survey department.
  • Provide remote support and troubleshooting to both offshore and nearshore survey teams.
  • Ensure data quality, operational efficiency, and adherence to project requirements.
  • Act as a technical lead under the supervision of the Subsea & Survey Manager.
  • Support training and development of junior surveyors and offshore teams.
  • Minimum 5 years’ nearshore survey experience(hydrographic, geophysical, or construction support).
  • Strong technical expertise with survey sensors and positioning systems.
  • Experience using the EIVA suite (NaviPac, NaviScan, NaviEdit, NaviModel).
  • BeamworXexperience is highly preferable.
  • Proven ability to lead offshore survey scopes.
  • Experience with remote support and troubleshooting of survey spreads.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills.
  • Offshore survival and medical certifications (valid or willing to obtain).
