Job summary

We Do Social Work in Liverpool is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Occupational Therapy Service, supporting adults to maintain independence and improve quality of life.

You will conduct specialist assessments, identify equipment and adaptations, manage risks and work with families, carers and colleagues to achieve positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
• Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).
• Willingness to undertake post-qualifying training and Practice Placement Educators Award if not held.

Responsibilities

• Undertake comprehensive functional and specialist occupational therapy assessments.
• Identify equipment, adaptations and solutions to promote independence.
• Assess and manage risks while balancing rights and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with families, carers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate case records and reports; provide supervision where required.
