Opus People Solutions Limited is recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist to join an Adult Social Care team in the West Midlands. The role offers a flexible hybrid working pattern with one office-based day per week and a manageable caseload to deliver high-quality assessments and interventions.

You will work in a community-based setting, delivering person-centred assessments, coordinating equipment and adaptations, and maintaining thorough records while safeguarding throughout practice.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy is required.
• HCPC Registration is required.
• Minimum of 2 years' post-qualifying Occupational Therapy experience.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsabilités

• Deliver comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments with a person-centred and strengths-based approach.
• Apply clinical knowledge of physical health conditions to inform assessment, intervention and support planning.
• Manage and prioritise a diverse caseload independently with supervision as needed.
• Assess for and arrange equipment, specialist equipment and major adaptations including DFGs.
• Complete moving and handling assessments and provide specialist guidance and recommendations.
• Contribute to rehousing assessments and reports when required.
• Signpost individuals and carers to appropriate support services and community resources.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive case records and documentation.
• Collaborate with individuals, carers, colleagues and partner agencies to achieve the best outcomes.
• Apply safeguarding principles, the Care Act and relevant legislation in practice.
