A leading engineering consultancy in Manchester is seeking an experienced Acoustics Consultant to conduct environmental noise assessments and develop mitigation strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in Acoustics or a related field, industry experience, and excellent communication skills. Our Noise and Acoustics team undertake work across a variety of sectors from residential, healthcare, education, retail, and commercial. We also undertake assessment of sustainable energy schemes such as battery storage and solar farms. Our clients include UK MoD, Sainsbury’s, Amazon together with a variety of local authorities and building developer clients. Our projects include House of Parliament and projects across Europe. Our services include environmental noise and vibration assessment, and development of mitigatory measures for buildings and plant equipment, through standalone Environmental Statements, or discharge of conditions, and post-planning building acoustics design work from RIBA Stage 2-6.
