Summary:

Our client is a leading tech-driven quant and systematic hedge fund trading with offices across the globe. Joining the global infrastructure team, you’ll be responsible for architecting, engineering and delivering all aspects of the network infrastructure, with a particular focus on colocation. You’ll partner closely with project management teams to enable full lifecycle management of network components across core network switching, firewalls, load balancers, instrumentation/telemetry, network CMDB and automation.

To be successful in this role, it is crucial that you must be able to demonstrate delivery of complex networks at scale, delivered through a software- and automation-driven mindset.

Requirements:

• Deep knowledge of high-performance networking, e.g. product capabilities & roadmaps from Cisco, Arista, Fortinet, etc.
• Direct experience delivering networks supporting high-performance corporate infrastructure and low-latency computing architectures
• Outstanding problem-solving skills and collaborative communication abilities
• Solid knowledge of the network vendor ecosystem and demonstrable experience of building relationships at senior layers with vendor product & engineering teams
• Keen interest in industry trends and emerging technologies
