Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Cluster Facilities Manager to coordinate hard and soft FM services across multiple branch locations in Jersey and Guernsey. You will lead facilities teams, manage contractors, ensure safety compliance and drive performance against contracts and KPIs.

The role requires strong knowledge of building services, supplier management and operational leadership in a multi-site environment. A proactive, safety-focused mindset and stakeholder engagement are essential.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in facilities management across hard and soft services.
• Strong building services knowledge and compliance awareness.
• Operational leadership in multi-site environments.
• Experience with FM contracts, SLAs and KPIs; supplier management.
• IOSH qualification or equivalent health and safety knowledge.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and stakeholder skills.
• Budget and cost management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead hard FM services delivery (HVAC, electrical, lifts, lighting, fire safety).
• Oversee soft FM services (cleaning, waste, planting maintenance).
• Provide day-to-day leadership to facilities teams and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and statutory regulations.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and be the main facilities contact.
• Monitor performance against contracts, SLAs and KPIs.
