Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Head of Engineering Services - Facilities to oversee the delivery of hard services on a site-based contract in South Wales. You will lead and develop hard services teams, manage third-party contractors, ensure statutory compliance and drive continuous service improvements to deliver exceptional client outcomes.

The role combines strategic budget management with hands-on leadership, focusing on asset life, safety, and performance reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a hard services management role within Facilities Management or a related sector.
• Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, UK Health and Safety legislation, CDM Regulations and asset management strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and motivate hard services teams to support continuous improvement.
• Oversee third-party contractors to ensure service delivery against KPIs, SLAs and compliance.
