A leading healthcare organization in the UK is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison to join their Neuroscience team. This role focuses on spinal muscular atrophy and requires significant UK MSL experience. Candidates should have a relevant scientific degree and strong communication skills to effectively engage with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders. We have a new opportunity for a senior Medical Science Liaison to join our Neuroscience team to focus on spinal muscular atrophy (SMA). The Senior MSL is responsible for scientifically engaging, collaborating and aligning with a broad range of external stakeholders to address identified patient needs and ultimately change the practice of medicine for better patient access and outcomes. All scientific exchanges must be scientifically up to date, balanced and of a non-promotional nature. The Senior MSL will also contribute to innovative partnerships and implement relevant disease area strategies. They act as a strategic scientific partner, and collaborate with other Field matrix colleagues (e.g. Commercial, Market Access, HEOR, clinical research colleagues) to ensure Novartis can support healthcare systems to strengthen and improve patient access and outcomes.
This territory for this role is the north of England, Scotland and West Midlands (including Birmingham).
Candidates must have the right to work permanently in the UK. Unfortunately, neither visa or relocation support are available for this role.
