Responsibilities
- Work as part of and lead the Mental Health team within the Integrated Healthcare Services team.
- Provide clinical leadership and management to Registered nurses and allied health professionals.
- Establish inter‑agency working where necessary to ensure good communication increases quality of care for patients.
- Ensuring that own clinical practice is consistent with autonomous practice within the role.
- Based on the Wellbeing Approach and Practice Plus mental Health policy, provide nursing triage, screening and assessment.
- Actively participate with the development of local operating procedures to ensure pathways are clear for clinicians.
- Ensuring all complaints/concerns relating to Mental Health are dealt with in a timely fashion.
- Nurse lead treatment or care within mental health.
- Confirm waiting list are well managed ensuring minimal waiting times for patients.
- Medicines management/advice including supporting medicine administration.

Qualifications
Registered Mental Health Nurse - NMC.
- BSc or equivalent qualification.
- Experience of providing supervision.
- Teaching / Mentoring experience and/or qualification experience.
- Evidence of appropriate continuing professional development activity to maintain up-to-date knowledge and ongoing competence in all aspects of the role.

Working hours and salary
- Monday – Friday.
- 8.30 am – 4.30 pm and 12.30 pm – 8.30 pm. After completing probation we can look at working 37.5 hours over 4 days.
- 1 / 4 weekends a month. This position is full time; you’ll receive an annual salary up to £43,609 – £49,175 per annum FTE – depending on experience.
