Are you an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer who is looking to join a world leading R&D company, focusing on an existing aerospace and aviation project founded by the government, based on Leicestershire?

This Loughborough based organisation is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team, applying your mechanical design engineering expertise to lead design and development programs, for products used in applications, predominantly within the Automotive and Aerospace sectors.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical Design of new systems and products.
• Ensuring the effective delivery of design and development programmes.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Identifying new suppliers and appropriate new realisation methodologies.
• Ensuring appropriate engineering processes and tools are used.
