Job Overview

Reporting to the Senior Director, Ocean Park Guest Experiences & Operations, the incumbent will leverage solid corporate-level security experience to protect the company’s assets, guests and team members. The Senior Manager will be entrusted with running comprehensive security operations for the corporation including the theme parks and back‑of‑house area of the property, providing strategic security intelligence and overseeing the 24‑hour security measures. Their mandate includes the development and improvement of corporate security policies, the standardization of all security‑related work procedures and emergency plans. A key aspect of the role is maintaining robust connections with different external stakeholders including HKPF, FSD and neighbour hotels. This position provides the strategic vision and daily leadership for the entire security department, ensuring operational excellence and resilience in a dynamic, high‑volume guest environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the integrity of the comprehensive risk mitigation strategy in the theme park environment while operating at a corporate level
  • Develop, implement and continuously improve the corporation’s security strategy, policies, procedures and emergency plans
  • Lead and oversee the 24/7 security operations across the property
  • Manage physical security measures of the parks, back‑of‑house areas, offices with professionalism and courtesy
  • Oversee substantial security budgets, staffing, vendor contracts and security capital projects
  • Act as the commander in charge in emergency situations and provide timely updates to management
  • Proactively gather security intelligence to safeguard the corporation’s assets, reputation, and public safety
  • Manage thorough investigations of significant incidents and provide detailed reports
  • Serve as the primary liaison on incidents with external stakeholders including government bodies, uniform units and neighbour hotels
  • Ensure the company is compliant with industry regulations and standards
Requirements
  • College or university degree holder
  • At least 12 years of relevant experience in security or hospitality industry, of which 6 years at a managerial level
  • Proven competency in managing corporate security operations and security intelligence is essential
  • Experience overseeing large, complex security operations. Prior experience in theme parks or large‑scale venues is preferred
  • Familiarity with major security technology and system implementations
  • Strong leadership abilities, excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to develop and influence a team
  • A strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work outdoors, on weekends and during public holidays
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese
