We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Manager, Governance, IWPB Americas and Europe

In this new role, you will be responsible for the governance activities throughout IWPB Americas and Europe regional office covering entity and line of business governance. You will work closely with both the Head of Business Management and Commercial Execution as well as the Head of IWPB Americas and Europe to plan for various internal and external meetings and engagements and oversee various deliveries and reporting responsibilities.

Responsibilities
  • Creation and submission of Board, entity and IWPB governance papers across the Americas and Europe region.
  • Day-to-day running of office of the Head of IWPB Americas and Europe and overseeing the governance support to ensure Head of IWPB Americas and Europe is fully prepared for key committees, meetings, conferences, offsites etc.
  • Constructively challenging current internal governance processes including submissions, quality of documents and briefing requirements for Head of IWPB Americas and Europe.
  • Leading on all reporting requirements for Americas and Europe regulatory matters including Risk Map, annual reports, Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA), Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Senior Manager & Certification Regime (SMCR).
  • Assimilation of large amounts of information from multiple sources and translated in a way to add value to desired business outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and experienced within secretariat and report writing. Ability to ensure all policies, processes and compliance activities are meticulously planned, tracked and executed.
  • Able to communicate effectively and with confidence across the Group including Senior and Executive Management.
  • Effectively engages and aligns stakeholders at all levels, building consensus and driving decisions without direct authority.
  • A background business management, coupled with a strong understanding of potential issues, implements robust controls, and ensures proactive management of regulatory and operational risks.
  • A self-starter who can stay one step ahead and to understand future needs and requirements.
