A leading NHS Trust in Manchester seeks a Junior Clinical Fellow to join their Emergency Medicine Team. Candidates will provide exceptional care in a busy hospital, engage in educational training, and develop special clinical interests. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Emergency Medicine Team at Wythenshawe Hospital, part of Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking to appoint Junior Clinical Fellows (Junior Locally Employed Doctors) to complement our team.
You will be working in one of Greater Manchester’s busiest hospitals, where over 100,000 patients are assessed in the Emergency Department every year. We seek to recruit dynamic individuals to work in our state-of-the-art ED, wherein there is a Paediatric Emergency Department, Urgent Treatment Centre, Resuscitation area, and Same Day Emergency Care unit which offers a front-door service for Medical and Respiratory referrals.
The post holders will be expected to provide exceptional patient care. The job offers excellent opportunities to develop special interests and keep their skills up by managing paediatric and adult acute emergencies. Sim sessions, regular ultrasound training and a daily dedicated Consultant shift promoting shop floor educational activities are also available.
