  • Overseeing all contract‑related legal matters within your portfolio, proactively advising senior management on risks, claims and disputes.
  • Supporting dispute resolution processes, including collaboration with outside counsel when necessary.
  • Championing standardisation and process improvements to streamline the way we work and maximise our legal impact.
  • Engineering tailored innovative solutions for complex high‑value projects where a creative approach is needed.
  • Building strong cross‑functional and cross‑cultural relationships, working closely with legal and business colleagues across regions and throughout the wider RWE Group.
Qualifications

  • Qualified lawyer with a proven track record and exceptional legal skills.
  • In‑depth knowledge of construction law and eagerness to become an expert in related areas such as energy or procurement law.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience as a practising lawyer or in‑house counsel (ideally 5 years focused on construction and procurement law in renewables, especially on international projects).
  • Skilled at juggling priorities, embracing new responsibilities and adapting in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.

  • Varied and stimulating work that directly contributes to the global green energy transition.
  • A positive, dynamic and supportive work environment where collaboration and innovation are celebrated.
  • Flexible working hours and location arrangements to help you achieve your ideal work‑life balance.
  • The chance to join a truly international team of passionate and motivated colleagues.
  • An open culture that values your ideas and encourages you to drive positive change.
  • Room to grow: extensive opportunities for personal and professional development within RWE.
