Overview:

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is hiring an experienced Sr. Laboratory Scientist to work full days in Transplant.

Generous Sign-on Bonus up to $20,000 for qualified candidates!

As a Sr. Laboratory Scientist, duties include performing laboratory testing, interpreting test results using scientific knowledge, and recommending contingency testing. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing daily technical operations, including staff training, implementation of instrumentation, and ensuring accreditation readiness.

Education

  • Bachelor's in medical technology or Biology/Chemical Science

Certification/Licensure

  • ASCP or AMT certification

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience
  • Transplant experience preferred
