Senior IT Project Manager

We have an opportunity available for a Senior IT Project Manager to manage the delivery of IT projects, as agreed with the Head of IT.

Reporting to the Head of IT as part of a team of Project Managers, you will be accountable for the detailed planning and delivery of IT projects. You will have line management responsibility for a team of Project Managers.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the delivery of IT projects, ensuring project objectives and schedules are achieved on time and to budget.
  • Support the Head of IT in the assessment, procurement or development, and delivery of IT Projects.
  • Support the Head of IT in the management and control of the IT project portfolio.
  • Provide updates and progress against all core projects based on progress, risk and cost.
  • Provide project management expertise and advice on all areas of programme / project governance using Prince 2 methodology.
  • Undertake the project management lead role for significant capital funded projects approved by the organisation.
  • Take the lead on complex and/or high profile IT projects.
  • Coordinate and day-to-day manage project management resources.
  • Timely and accurate reporting on all projects.
