Job summary

Emplyfy, an international high-tech MSP, is seeking a motivated IT Engineer to join its team. You will be the first point of contact for customers, attend sites when needed, and manage incidents through the Service Desk.

The role requires 5+ years in a similar position, strong security knowledge (Cyber Essentials, GDPR), and expertise with Office 365, Intune, RMM, Azure, Windows Server, and cross-platform support.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience in a similar role (preferred).
• Configuring and implementing Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards (mandatory).
• Office 365 Cloud (Email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) (mandatory).
• Intune, RMM and Telephone platform experience.
• Network infrastructure maintenance and installations (Routers, Switches, DHCP, DNS, Firewalls, VLANs).
• Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 (GPs, security policies).
• Azure administration and implementations.
• Knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Mac.
• Imaging familiarity.
• Strong customer support and communicative teamwork.
• Ability to problem-solve independently.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customers.
• Attend customer sites to troubleshoot and perform maintenance.
• Manage incidents and requests through the Service Desk Tool.
• Keep customers updated on cases per SLA.
• Escalate high-priority matters to Management when required.
• Review daily priorities and take necessary action.
• Monitor integrity and status of customer sites and reporting.
• Install, test, maintain and repair hardware and software.
• Document processes and record tickets for outstanding work.
• Manage high-priority incidents on-site and off-site.
