Job summary

Engine by Starling is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, build and operate scalable cloud infrastructure across regions and providers. You will champion security by design, automate deployment pipelines, and drive reliability for the bank's cloud-native platform.

You will lead complex projects, mentor teammates, and help shape future capabilities of Engine as part of a fast-paced fintech team with hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Experience with designing scalable cloud infrastructure on GCP.
• Strong understanding of security-by-design principles for cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, build and maintain scalable infrastructure on GCP.
• Ensure performance and reliability of cloud environments with cost awareness.
• Automate repetitive tasks and promote security by design.
• Manage key and secret materials with proper governance and ceremonies.
• Lead complex infrastructure projects from inception to production.
