Job Title:

Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Location:

Warton - On-Site role

Salary:

Circa £52,000

What you’ll be doing:
  • The role will support the definition and delivery of the strategic Test & Evaluation infrastructure which is required to deliver the future programmes
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating and delivering the plan to time, cost and quality. This will involve integration across a range of internal and external suppliers
  • Define the test and evaluation capability requirements for future programmes to enable the identification of required new infrastructure or the modification of existing, in order to deliver future programmes
  • Delivery will be achieved through a complex mixture of internal to BAES teams and external equipment suppliers and contractors. This role will be responsible for the overall integrated programme of work across all these parties in order to seamlessly deliver the T&E capabilities

Essential:
  • Strong background in an engineering position managing complex engineering projects
  • Excellent communicator / stakeholder manager able to engage confidently with colleagues at all levels across the organisation
  • Experience / understanding of MBSE toolsets

The Infrastructure Development team:

The Infrastructure Development team within Test & Evaluation is responsible for the delivery of new or modified infrastructure / capability in order to deliver future programmes

Working within Lines of business within BAE we firstly define the requirements to their project needs and identify a solution, and appropriately deliver this through the engineering life cycle (conception through to solution handover)

In addition, we also look within the UK supply chain to identify potential collaborators / test facilities to conduct our work. Critical to the role is collaboration with the UK MoD and our international industry partners
