You'll play a crucial role in delivering diverseGeo-environmental, Geotechnical, Earthworks, and Remediation Validation services. This involves designing and managing earthworks and remediation projects, as well as designing and managing site investigation works, which includes on-site supervision of drilling rigs, trial pitting, logging, and sampling.
You'll also be responsible for writing comprehensive reports and managing projects from start to finish, all while working as part of integrated project teams and gaining insights into related disciplines like civils, structural, and flood risk.
Being a Senior Consultant, you will support the development of junior staff, including Graduates and Apprentices, providing guidance and mentorship, while continuing to develop your own technical knowledge and understanding of geotechnical engineering.
As part of our Birmingham team you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects in sectors like education, healthcare, defence, commercial, and residential. Some of our upcoming projects show the variety of work we undertake, such as mining investigations and treatment works, environmental statements, geotechnical assessments and design, and DQRAs to support the remediation of brownfield sites across the West Midlands.
ABOUT YOU
You will have aBSc, BEng, or higher qualification in a relevant subject (geology, civil engineering, environmental science, etc.) and have the following:
Experience acting as an NEC Site Supervisor would be a significant advantage.
