Job summary

An engineering consultancy in the Birmingham area is seeking a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer. The ideal candidate will manage brownfield projects, prepare technical reports, and mentor junior engineers. This office-based position requires at least 5 years of UK consultancy experience and a degree in Geology or Environmental Science. Applicants should have strong project management skills and a UK driving licence. A competitive salary of £45K-£55K is offered.

Qualifications

Role Summary

As a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer, this is an opportunity to be mainly office based, helping with technical reports, project management and overall team development and project delivery.

Technical Responsibilities

The technical responsibilities of a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer surround managing all aspects of GI, phase I, phase II reporting, foundation calcs, remediation methods, risk assessments and validations.

Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer Spec
  • Degree in Geology, environmental science, geotechnics etc.
  • 5+ years of UK GI consultancy experience, managing projects from inception through to completion.
  • Ability to write phase I and phase II interpretive reports.
  • Any aspects of Geotechnical knowledge regarding residential developments is a bonus.
  • Desire to mentor and develop junior engineers.
  • Project and client management experience.
  • UK driving licence.
