Responsibilities

• Provide senior management with high level analysis and forecasts to enable business decisions.
• Improve the budgeting process including financial projections and forecasts.
• Develop and maintain budget, forecasts and cash flow models.
• Establish a re-forecast approach across the group.
• Provide insights into variance analysis across the business.
• Prepare detailed financial reports for senior management.

Job description

This London market insurer have created a new role within their growing and dynamic finance function. With a relatively newly established FP&A function, this will be a key hire to not only produce high level financial information for the business but to help shape, develop and build out the function. Core responsibilities will include

• Provide senior management with high level analysis and forecasts to enable business decisions
• Improvement of the of the budgeting process including financial projections and forecasts
• Develop and maintain budget, forecasts and cash flow models
• Establish a re-forecast approach across the group
• Provide insights into variance analysis across the business
• Both high level and detailed analysis of financial performance
• Preparation of detailed financial reports for senior management including underwriting head

You will be a qualified accountant with a strong FP&A background within the Lloyd's and/or company market. You will be able to both produce FP&A as well as develop and help build the FP&A processes. You will be looking for a role which combines both the technical production and the stakeholder engagement piece acting as a commercial finance business partner
