Job summary

A leading renewable energy firm in the UK is seeking a Senior Accountant to ensure compliance with accounting standards and manage financial transactions. The ideal candidate will possess 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably with qualifications such as ACCA or ACA. Responsibilities include maintaining accounting systems, coordinating audits, and preparing VAT returns. Qualifications

• 5 years (2 years PQE) experience in accounting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain financial accounting systems and controls.
• Coordinate with statutory auditor for annual audits.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and other regulatory filings.
