Job description

Do you have a ACCA or CIMA qualification? Or are you part qualified AAT with experience within a large corporation? If the answer is "Yes", then Holcim are looking for someone like you to join as a Senior Financial Analyst, to deliver high quality finance support services to the division.

Role - Senior Financial Analyst

Pay - £250-400 per day dependant on experience

Location - Holcim, Bardon Hill, Coalville LE67 1TD (100% office based)

Shift pattern - Mon-Fri, 40 hours per week, 08:00-17:00 (1 hour unpaid break daily)

Duration - 12 months initially with the potential opportunity to go permanent

Start date - January

Responsibilities
  • Review and analyse the financial and sustainability performance of the Division.
  • Provide analytical business decision support (market, product, customer and commercial) to improve financial performance.
  • Support the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and capex processes. Execute key components of the planning process according to defined timelines.
  • Review the financial and sustainability results of the Division in line with month end close timelines and in compliance with Minimum Control Standards
  • Support the delivery of the annual audit program to meet Holcim Group and Companies House requirements in line with instruction and scope.
  • Provide corporate presentations and analysis using pie charts, data tables etc
  • Manage and collaborate with the outsourced hub team in India
Experience needed
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Part qualified AAT would be considered if you have experience working within a large corporation
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment with quick turn arounds and strict deadlines
  • Experience of Google suite (sheets, slides, docs)
  • Experience with MS office (Excel, word)
  • Experience of ERP systems E1/SAP (Desirable)
  • Experience with reporting systems Qlikview and Insight (desirable)
