Job description
Senior Family Lawyer - Bristol

An excellent opportunity for an experienced and confident Senior Associate Family Solicitor to join a highly regarded and long established Family team in Bristol. You can expect to handle a stimulating and varied caseload of private family matters, with a strong emphasis on divorce and complex financial remedy work. You'll also advise on settlements, financial disputes, and undertake advocacy, while playing an active role in supervising junior colleagues and supporting the continued growth of the practice.

This is a fantastic chance to become a key member of a well established team acting for a diverse range of clients on high quality, often challenging family work. The role offers real scope to make an impact, contribute to business development and help shape the future direction of the department.

The successful candidate will be technically strong, commercially aware and able to manage matters independently with confidence. You'll bring significant experience in divorce and financial remedies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to guide clients sensitively and constructively through what are often highly emotional situations. Experience supervising others is also important.

You should be IT literate, well organised and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

In return, you'll enjoy a competitive salary, strong benefits, clear progression prospects and the support of a friendly, respected and growing team. Hybrid working is also available.
