Job summary

Mitie is seeking an experienced FM Leader to deliver end-to-end hard and soft facilities management across multiple sites in the UK. You will lead on maintenance strategies, asset management, and cost efficiencies while fostering strong relationships with Thales stakeholders and on-site teams.

The role requires a strong technical background in Engineering or Building Services, and qualifications such as HNC/HND/Degree. Travel between sites and driving licence are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering hard and soft FM in a client-facing, multi-site environment.
• Strong technical background in Engineering, M&E, Building Services.
• Relevant qualification such as HNC/HND/Degree in Engineering or Building Services.
• Excellent understanding of statutory compliance including HVAC and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of hard FM (M&E, compliance, PPM, reactive maintenance) and soft FM (cleaning, security, waste, catering).
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and health & safety standards.
• Act as primary contact for stakeholders and build strong client relationships
• Lead on-site teams and subcontractors to drive high performance
• Oversee asset management, lifecycle planning and maintenance strategies
• Manage budgets and identify cost efficiencies
• Monitor KPIs and SLAs and drive continuous improvement
• Produce operational reports and support audits
• Support mobilisation activities and project delivery across the account
