Overview

My client, a market leading, UK based Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Senior Environmental Consultant to join their Team of Engineers and Consultants based in Cardiff.

Applicants are required to have a BSc or MSc in a related discipline including Geography, Environmental Science or Environmental Management and have experience working for a UK based Consultancy completing or co-coordinating ES Statements and/or Environmental Impact Assessments. Candidates are required to have a keen interest in hydrology, flood risk and environmental permitting.

Responsibilities
  • As a Senior Environmental Consultant you will have the opportunity to complete and co-ordinate Environmental Impact Assessments and ES Chapters for varied projects spanning Local Authorities, Water Companies, Private Sector Clients and Housing Developers. You will work on hydrological, energy and infrastructure projects for mixed use developments.
  • Environmental Impact Assessments and Environmental Statements.
  • Hydrology chapters for EIAs.
  • EIA project management including managing and tracking project development with assistance from Senior team members.
  • Water Resources and Hydrology Assessments.
  • Client meetings to discuss the development of the project.
  • Frequent meetings with Clients to discuss project development.
