A leading defence contractor in Barrow-in-Furness is seeking a Senior Engineer – Pressure Systems. You will ensure compliance of pressure systems, support design reviews, and work on innovative projects in a multi-discipline team. Ideal candidates will possess HNC/HND in mechanical engineering and strong knowledge of UK pressure system regulations. The role focuses on ensuring pressure systems are designed, installed and operated in compliance with current legislation, regulations and site standards. You will work within a multi-discipline Site Specialist Engineering team and report to a Principal Engineer.

As Senior Engineer – Pressure systems you will be joining a multi-discipline team comprising suitably qualified and experienced personnel (SQEP) in Electrical, Mechanical and Civil/Structural disciplines. The main purpose of the team is to set site engineering standards and requirements for equipment/systems/facilities in accordance with legislation and process. You will be working under the direction of a Principal Engineer on a varied workload including involvement with a number of new buildings being built as part of the Shipyard expansion. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
