Job summary

Vanrath is seeking a Senior End-User Specialist to join its internal IT team in Newtownards. The role is hands-on, delivering high-quality technical support across the business and driving improvements in the end-user computing environment.

You will handle 2nd/3rd line issues, manage devices, and work with IT colleagues and suppliers on projects and upgrades. A proactive, senior-level approach to complex problems is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in end-user computing, desktop support or senior level IT support.
• Proficient with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 and AD/Entra ID.
• Experience with endpoint management tools and IT service management.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support to users across the organisation, owning incidents to resolution.
• Troubleshoot across Windows endpoints, Microsoft 365, applications, hardware and user accounts.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex end-user issues.
• Manage and maintain end-user computing environment for security and reliability.
• Support onboarding, hardware deployment, software installation and configuration.
• Collaborate with IT teams and suppliers to resolve issues and deliver improvements.
• Contribute to IT projects, rollouts and new solutions.
