Job summary

VANRATH is seeking an IT Engineer - Infrastructure in Belfast to join the service delivery team. You will provide technical support across a varied client base and contribute to infrastructure and cloud projects, including Microsoft 365 deployments and server implementations.

The role blends office work with client-site visits, offering exposure to different environments and opportunities to grow technical expertise within a supportive MSP.

Qualifications

• Supporting and administering Microsoft 365 environments.
• Strong background in IT Support within an MSP environment.
• Confident troubleshooting across infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Configuring and troubleshooting networking equipment and firewall solutions.
• Experience and ability to undertake projects.
• Diagnosing and resolving infrastructure-related issues across Windows environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support across a varied client base, resolving complex issues and delivering high-quality service.
• Get involved in infrastructure and cloud projects, including onboarding, Microsoft 365 deployments, and server implementations.
• Travel to client sites as part of hybrid working.

• Salary: £30,000-£40,000 - open to discussions based on experience


• Location: Belfast


• Contract: Permanent, full-time


• Work Pattern: Monday-Friday, standard operational hours, hybrid working arrangements

The Role

As part of the service delivery team, you'll provide technical support across a varied client base, resolving complex issues and delivering a high standard of customer service. Alongside day-to-day support, you'll have the opportunity to get involved in a range of infrastructure and cloud projects, including client onboarding, Microsoft 365 deployments, server implementations and wider IT improvement initiatives.

This role offers a mix of office-based work and visits to client sites, providing plenty of variety and exposure to different environments.
