Job description

MK Search have partnered with a leading M&E contractor with a turnover of circa £350m and a strong national presence delivering flagship projects across sectors who are looking for a senior electrical project engineer to join their team for the PCSA stage of a notable £48m M&E mixed use commercial projects in Central London.

Reporting to an MEP project director, you will take control of the electrical package acting as lead electrical engineer to co‑ordintate and manage all front end activities before going to site next year to deliver the proejct.

Role and Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit technical documents for approval.
• Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, sub‑contractors, and specialists on product specifications, validation, and value engineering.
• Assist in project engineering and design progression.
• Work with clients, design team members, and contractors on both technical and commercial aspects.
• Participate in pre‑construction engineering, including design development, technical submittals, construction details, and sub‑contract management.
• Oversee services coordination and address any issues.
• Provide technical expertise to estimating, procurement, commercial, marketing, and construction teams.
• Mentor and guide team members in their roles.
