Overview
Join Centrica Home Product & Design as a Senior Digital Product Manager and take ownership of our digital sales strategy working with brands such as British Gas. You'll lead and develop a small team, working in an agile environment to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive commercial growth.
About the Role
As Senior Digital Product Manager, you will:
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Challenge the status quo—your own ideas and those of others—to deliver meaningful growth.
- Own the Digital Sales Strategy: Shape key product hypotheses into impactful features or functionality. Use measurable product principles and OKRs to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Champion Customer-Centricity: Stay ahead of market trends and competitor offerings. Use customer insights to inform product development and digital strategy in fast-moving markets.
- Design Exceptional Experiences: Collaborate with UX and UI teams to create seamless, innovative customer journeys that deliver best-in-class experiences and drive conversions.
- Collaborate Across Functions: Work closely with Propositions, Content, Marketing, and Technology teams to launch and optimise features that enhance the e‑commerce experience.
- Manage the Backlog: Own and prioritise the product backlog based on value vs. effort—not just stakeholder requests. Be confident in challenging and pushing back where needed.
- Champion Agile Practices: Advocate for Agile methodologies across the business, demystifying the process and demonstrating its value.
- Build a High‑Performing Team: Partner with the Scrum Master to lead a high‑performing squad. Actively participate in sprint ceremonies and foster a culture of continuous learning.
