Job summary

Partnerize is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to champion deployment architecture for our on-premise estate and Kubernetes platform modernization. You will lead CI/CD pipelines, guardrails, and migration strategies with autonomy, shaping how engineering safely ships value.

You will work across BAU, platform stability, and Kubernetes efforts, building self-service workflows, documentation, and best-practice standards with a security-conscious, pragmatic mindset.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a people-first mindset.
• Extensive Ansible experience: roles, inventories, vault, idempotency.
• Production experience with Docker and Docker Compose.
• Solid networking fundamentals.
• Scripting proficiency in Bash and Python.
• Experience with GitOps tooling: ArgoCD or Flux.
• Experience with observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Alertmanager.
• Ability to plan pragmatically and deliver iteratively within existing constraints.
• Methodical and security-conscious approach.

Responsibilities

• Own CI/CD pipelines and deployment architecture for Kubernetes platform.
• Collaborate with TechOps to design self-service workflows, guardrails, and standards.
• Migrate and containerise workloads to Kubernetes, starting with non-critical environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Helm, Kustomize, ArgoCD, or similar.
• Develop runbooks, templates, and self-service documentation for engineers.
• Represent Engineering as a key stakeholder in platform design and deployment automation.
• Drive platform stability and incident response, including post-mortems and health monitoring.
