the company is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own deployment architecture and Kubernetes platform modernization. You’ll drive CI/CD pipelines, guardrails, and migration strategies for on-prem workloads while collaborating with engineering teams.

The role offers hands-on leadership with autonomy and a focus on security-conscious, pragmatic delivery as part of a flexible work environment in the UK.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; teamwork is essential.
• 'Strong, demonstrable experience with Ansible: roles, inventories, vault.

Responsibilities

• Utilise Ansible-based deployment automation for feature releases.
• Monitor cluster health and participate in incident response.
• Maintain deployment runbooks and self-service guides.
• Shape engineering self-service workflows and guardrails for Kubernetes.
• Migrate workloads to Kubernetes with phased rollout.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes deployments using Helm, ArgoCD, or Flux.
• Establish application observability with metrics, logging, and alerts.
• Create developer self-service documentation.
