The company is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the engineering team and drive deployment architecture for our Kubernetes platform. You will own CI/CD pipelines, automate guardrails, and lead migrations across our on‑premise estate, partnering with TechOps to modernise how we deploy and scale workloads.

This hands‑on role offers autonomy and tangible impact, with responsibilities spanning platform stability, security-conscious practices, and shaping self‑service tooling for engineering

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven experience with Ansible.
• Production experience with Docker and Docker Compose.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Scripting with Bash and Python.
• Experience with GitOps tooling like ArgoCD or Flux.
• Experience with observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Alertmanager).
• Ability to think creatively within constraints and plan pragmatically.
• Methodical, security-conscious approach.

Responsibilities

• Utilise Ansible-based deployment automation for feature releases.
• Monitor cluster health and lead incident response with TechOps.
• Maintain deployment documentation and runbooks for onboarding.
• Shape engineering self-service workflows and guardrails for Kubernetes.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes deployments.
• Set up application observability and alerting.
• Create developer self-service documentation.
