Job summary

IT Global Consulting Limited is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to own the development, maintenance and ongoing support for our platform, acting as the internal focal point for an enterprise platform. The role emphasizes automation, cloud native tooling, and scalable infrastructure in an agile environment.

The candidate should demonstrate extensive Kubernetes and cloud experience, strong scripting abilities in Python and Bash, and a proven track record deploying CI/CD pipelines using AWS

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Kubernetes, Python, Bash, Docker, and CI/CD in cloud environments.
• Experience architecting and deploying CI/CD pipelines using cloud native and third-party tools.
• Strong shell scripting and Python skills with monitoring/metrics focus.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments and ability to define standards for new projects.

Responsibilities

• Working within an agile context with the use of CI/CD.
• Articulate a logical design and understand how this translates to physical infrastructure.
• Support teams in mapping stories to platforms and deploying secure services.
• Develop, coordinate and administrate AWS infrastructure integrating cloud services with third party products.
• Build and manage VPC environments (Sandbox, DEV, Test, Production).
• Automate deployments via infrastructure as code (Pulumi/Terraform).
