Job summary

Together Limited is seeking an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join our Service Desk in Manchester. You will provide expert 2nd line support, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor colleagues while maintaining exceptional SLAs.

You will work in an ITIL-aligned environment, handle desktop software and hardware issues across Windows and Mac devices, manage Azure AD/Intune related tasks, and contribute to knowledge base and IT projects.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a Desktop Support / 2nd line role.
Experience in an ITIL-aligned environment.
Advanced technical support for desktop software and peripherals.
Experience with Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, Exchange Online.
Familiarity with MECM, Intune and Autopilot.
PowerShell usage and scripting familiarity.
RBAC understanding and access management knowledge.
Experience supporting Mac devices and encryption software.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot incidents, service requests and queries via phone, email, remote support and face-to-face.
Own incidents from log to resolution and meet SLAs.
Maintain accurate ticket records and IT asset/licenses.
Support onboarding and offboarding and RBAC driven access management.
Create and maintain knowledge articles for team effectiveness.
Participate in IT projects and deployment of new technologies.
Contribute to change control activities and process improvements.
