A healthcare service provider is seeking an administrator for the cardio-respiratory diagnostic team at Glangwili Hospital. Successful candidates will have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, be adept at communication, and proficient in Microsoft Office. The role involves scheduling cardiac and respiratory diagnostic procedures, responding to inquiries, and supporting daily operations. An understanding of health services and the ability to speak Welsh is desirable. Competitive salary of £25,313 to £26,999 per annum, pro rata.
This is an exciting opportunity within the cardio-respiratory diagnostic team at Glangwili Hospital, for an administrator with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. The post holder will work with the administrative co-ordinator and admin team, booking cardiac and respiratory diagnostic investigations and cardiac procedures, delivering services efficiently and to the highest standards.
The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, as communicating sensitively with patients and colleagues is essential. An understanding of the departments core work, patient clinical pathways and experience using hospital systems would be beneficial. However, an enthusiasm for the provision of high-quality services, eagerness to learn and develop, and excellent organisational skills to prioritise work and meet deadlines is highly regarded.
The role will be based on the Glangwili General Hospital site. The hours will be worked between Monday and Friday and between 8am-6pm, with potential options for a 4 or 5 day working week.
