Overview

Senior Customer Account Manager (Manufacturing) — Location: Thame, Oxford
Salary: £40,000-£50,000 depending on experience
Onsite working, Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 2:00pm on Fridays

We are going through a period of continued growth; to support this expansion, we are seeking a Senior Customer Account Manager to lead and develop our Account Management team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Account Management team, acting as the first point of escalation and resolution.
  • Manage a team of five, with planned future growth in headcount.
  • Represent the team across the wider business and champion effective collaboration.
  • Review and improve ways of working, including optimising the use of our ERP system (ASC) to drive efficiency.
  • Strengthen business reporting and analysis for all aspects of order fulfilment.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and customer focus.
  • Manage both existing, new, and legacy customer accounts.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Previous experience in a customer account management role within a manufacturing environment.
  • A strong track record of delivering improvement and change in a business environment.
  • Experience with ERP systems (ASC knowledge is an advantage but not essential).
  • Excellent influencing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Previous office and people management experience.
  • Data-driven and computer literate, with experience managing orders across customer portals.
  • Process improvement mindset.
