Job summary

Turner & Townsend in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Cost Manager to support infrastructure projects across transportation, utilities and highways. You will develop cost plans, monitor forecasts and guide cost-control activities on complex programmes.

You will lead cost teams, manage change, and contribute to value engineering while pursuing ongoing professional development within a global advisory firm.

• Ideally hold or be working towards an appropriate professional body membership or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Establishing friendly, professional relationships with clients, colleagues and other parties.
• Administering contracts in line with project objectives and policies.
• Providing accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion.
• Monitoring cost variance and cash flow, ensuring timely applications.
• Collaborating with client and contractor teams to manage deliverables and KPIs.
• Managing contract change to keep projects within governance and best practices.
• Improving forecast and budget accuracy.
• Providing sound commercial knowledge to stakeholders.
• Ensuring final accounts are negotiated and agreed.
• Leading people and commissions as needed.
