ABOUT THE POST

Are you passionate about internal communications, employee engagement, and creating inclusive content? We’re looking for a Senior Communications Officer to help shape impactful messaging for staff and students across our University.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Lead multi-channel campaigns (intranet, newsletters, email, social media).
  • Create clear, engaging content that reflects our values and strategic priorities.
  • Coordinate communications projects for key university moments (Welcome, NSS, exams, wellbeing).
  • Plan and manage intranet content for accuracy and accessibility.
  • Use audience insights to improve engagement and impact.
What we’re looking for:
  • Experience in internal communications, content strategy, or employee engagement.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills.
  • Ability to manage projects and campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and committed to inclusivity.
