Senior Commercial and Property Litigator - Liverpool

BCL Legal is working with a multi-award winning full‑service commercial law, recruiting a senior commercial and property litigation solicitor, at Partner/Senior Associate level to be based in its Liverpool office.

The firm has offices based in the North West and offers a full range of commercial law services to the OMB and SME sectors.

This role will involve working across commercial and property litigation and will include:

• Shareholder and partnership disputes
• Warranty claims and other claims arising from business sales
• Professional negligence actions
• Contested insurance claims
• Contract disputes
• Contested lease renewals
• Dilapidations claims
• Disputes involving the sale, purchase and leasing of property
• Supervising other members of the team

A client following is an advantage but not a requirement. More important attributes are a network of business/professional contacts in the Merseyside area in particular, and the personality and ambition to develop their brand and the firms brand further and to play a role in the continued growth of the practice.

For a non‑partner there would be excellent opportunities for promotion to partnership.

Ideally, the successful applicant will have 8 or more years' PQE and experience of both general commercial litigation and commercial property litigation. In return, there is a competitive salary, hybrid working and a firm‑wide bonus scheme and benefits package.
