A leading healthcare provider in Leeds is seeking a Senior Clinical Practitioner to join their Mind Mate Support Team. This role involves delivering evidence-based CBT interventions, providing clinical leadership, and supporting a diverse team to enhance mental health services for children and young people. We are looking to recruit a Senior Clinical Practitioner who is a registered health professional to join our growing team. You will have extensive experience of working with children and young people with emotional and mental health difficulties, alongside experience of delivering supervision and leadership skills. You will be expected to support the provision of high-quality care to children, young people (CYP) and their families, and to offer clinical leadership across the service. You will also be a part of the wider services leadership team, contributing to service development and partnership working. The MMST offers early intervention mental health support to children, young people, and their families within schools, colleges, and education provisions across Leeds. We are continually growing and supporting a newly developing workforce of EMHP's.
The Senior Clinical Practitioner holds a small caseload of CYP offering evidence‑based low intensity CBT interventions to address their needs. You will be expected to work with education settings, offering consultation, advice & training to education staff. The SCP offers clinical supervision, caseload management supervision & day‑to‑day clinical leadership to the team & supports clinical decision‑making. The SCP supports the Clinical Team Manager providing clinical leadership to the team, attending team leadership meetings & contributes to wider service innovation. The SCP participates in multi‑disciplinary team meetings, group supervision & links in with the CYP MHS teams. The SCP leads key meetings, partnerships with external agencies & other teams within LCH. The SCP supports development & research projects within the service. We welcome individuals with excellent communication & engagement skills, commitment to improving service delivery, knowledge of the education system and experience of working in a mental health setting.
