An excellent training opportunity has arisen for a clinical fellow to join the Cardiac Surgery department at St George's University Hospital.
The post holder will work alongside ten registrars and join six members of junior medical staff. The unit has eight consultants.
The unit prides itself on providing first‑class teaching and training for its junior staff and medical students. Teaching sessions or MDMs are held every morning of the week. In outpatients, juniors are encouraged to assess new patients, and in theatres they are supported and encouraged, substantially increasing their operative experience.
