Overview

Part time (32 hours per week) opportunity available, term-time plus (working 37 weeks per year) plus the occasional Saturday morning and evening for which TOIL will apply.

Salary: Actual salary of £19,422 pa plus holiday pay of £3,020 pa based on 15.55% of the annual salary. (FTE salary of £30,954 pa).

We have an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified and experienced Senior Chemistry Technician to join our science department. Candidates must have previous experience of working within a scientific laboratory and possess a suitable qualification.

In this key role you will help to co-ordinate the use of experimental resources and facilities and provide assistance and advice in meeting the practical needs of the chemistry curriculum.

The team is both friendly and professional and all share a deep commitment to supporting excellent teaching and learning. The department is thriving and extremely well resourced.
