Our Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Chemist for our Chemical Regulation and Food Safety Practice in Harrogate (UK), Nottingham (UK), London (UK), Dublin (IE), Mannheim (DE) or Basel (SW) offices. You will operate within our Chemistry team and work on a range of projects to deliver data summaries, dossier sections and strategic advice to support registrations of crop protection chemicals and biocides in Europe.

You will be responsible for
  • Generating summaries of individual chemical identity, physical and chemical properties and analytical method validation study reports
  • Using existing knowledge and experience to interpret data from relevant studies, drawing sound scientific and regulatory conclusions
  • Monitoring studies relating to chemical identity, physical and chemical properties and analytical method validation
  • Providing strategic advice on matters relating to chemical identity, physical and chemical properties and analytical method validation
  • Participating actively in project teams to ensure Exponent’s high standards for external communication are met
  • Adhering to budget and deadline constraints on projects
  • Managing small projects and managing individual tasks of larger projects
You will have the following skills and qualifications
  • Minimum . degree or equivalent in a relevant chemistry discipline
  • Experience of working in a regulatory environment, particularly relating to the areas of identity, physical and chemical properties or analytical method validatio
