Led by a Michelin‑starred Executive Chef, Automat will offer elevated comfort food in a stylish, welcoming environment with an elegant and unique drinking experience. Our service style blends high standards with genuine warmth, creating a vibrant and approachable dining experience. Chef Requirements
  • Prepare and cook dishes according to the menu and established recipes.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Supervise and support junior kitchen staff when required.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of all ingredients.
  • Assist in maintaining kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef to develop new dishes and specials.
  • Monitor portion control and help minimise food waste.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative kitchen environment.
  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role.
  • Experience in fine dining, high‑volume, or hotel kitchens is desirable.
  • Familiarity with contemporary American cuisine or elevated comfort food is a plus.
  • Strong culinary knowledge and technical cooking skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards.
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.

  • Flexibility with schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
