Qualifications

• Recognised as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in a relevant domain.
• Have hands-on experience of product certification to recognised standards.
• Understand regulatory environment for airborne products, e.g. MAA, EASA.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent assurance as a Compliance Verification Engineer.
• Define certification basis for high integrity airborne applications.
• Review and approve Declarations of Conformity against legislation.

Skills

Subject Matter Expert (SME) in relevant domain

Hands-on experience of product certification

Understanding of product safety management

Familiar with regulatory environment for airborne products

Experience delivering training courses

Education

Professional Engineering Qualification (e.g., CEng)
