Role: Senior CDM/PD Advisor

Location: Northampton (hybrid working environment)

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + Excellent benefits package

Carriera is excited to partner with a property & construction consultancy operating throughout the Midlands/East Midlands. They are looking to recruit an experienced Senior CDM/PD Advisor to provide CDM advisory services to their clients within the built environment.

The successful candidate will undertake Principal Designer/CDM Advisory duties and possess strong client-facing skills to develop and maintain client relationships. The client operates across various sectors, including residential, education, commercial, healthcare, retail, leisure, local government, and industrial.

This role involves regional project coverage, with the expectation to work from the client’s offices three days per week to develop and mentor a team of safety professionals. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded H&S background with experience delivering health & safety services in the property & construction sector.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide a range of health & safety services to a diverse client base.
  2. Draft and review construction phase plans.
  3. Ensure all sites are CDM compliant with up-to-date documentation.
  4. Be familiar with all CDM 2015 documentation, including CPPs, PCI, H&S files, etc.
  5. Expand the CDM service line and manage key clients.
  6. Investigate accidents, incidents, fires, and dangerous occurrences.
  7. Demonstrate strong knowledge of H&S, including CDM and environmental legislation.
  8. Conduct site safety inspections and audits.
About you
  1. NEBOSH General or Construction certificate (minimum).
  2. NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (desirable).
  3. Membership of IOSH or APS (desirable).
  4. Excellent knowledge of 2015 CDM Regulations and Principal Design duties.
  5. Full UK driving license.
  6. Commercially minded with excellent communication skills.
